Jake and Sonya Wedding Invite

This was a wedding invitation I created for two clients that didn't want the typical gaudy-ness of most wedding invitations.

A New "Classic"

My clients didn’t want to have a gaudy wedding invitation. They preferred something simpler, but wanted it to still be recognizable as a wedding invite. This conflicted with the gaudy flowers of traditional wedding design, so I had to find a middle ground. 

I used triangles and rectangles in Adobe InDesign to create a simple geometric version of the flowery imagery that is common in wedding invitations, while still maintaining a classy feel.
