A Shift in Style

This project challenged my adaptability as a designer. Antique companies have very traditional, text-based designs but my client wanted it to feel like a modern take on the old standard.

I went through a lot of bad ideas before finally landing on the concept used in the final design. You can see some of them here. The design pushed me into an area that didn't come naturally and I learned plenty of what not to do.

The final logo, designed in Adobe Illustrator, uses rustic weathering to bring a sense of age typical of an antiques company. The logo itself uses text accompanied by simple circles and lines to lend a modern touch.
